After the brutal murder of his father and the abduction of his sister, he must accept the help of a stranger only known as El Diablo. Jedidiah is thrown into a world that he never knew existed when a stranger is found on his family’s property. That was only the beginning. Not long after the stranger is found, an old bitter enemy finds Jedidiah’s family and shatters it. His father is brutally murdered and his sister abducted.
With no one else to turn to, Jedidiah looks for the help of the stranger only known as El Diablo. Reluctantly El Diablo agrees, but only because of a pact he made with the dying father. The odd pair makes their way across the frontier searching for clues as to where Jedidiah’s sister was taken. Along the journey, Jedidiah learns that there are more sinister plans underway. He learns that Eberhart Marks is the leader of the gang that ransacked his family’s ranch and murdered his father, and took his sister.
After months of hunting down leads and getting closer to Eberhart and finding his sister, Jedidiah and El Diablo finally find where the Marks gang has been hiding. El Diablo and Jedidiah ride out to finish what Eberhart has started. Jedidiah will stop at nothing to avenge his father’s death and get his sister back. Neither angels or demons could stop him from doing so.

A native born Oregonian, who has enjoyed writing since she was very little. This first novel was a complete inspiration of her love for history and the fascination of the frontier in the newborn America. M.E. is thrilled to share with the world her first book!
She has always been fascinated with history. Particularly the early American history, which has been a continuous journey for more of an understanding. Stemming from a college writing project, her first work has developed from a short story into a rich and fulfilled novel.
When M. E. Krueger is not researching or writing, she loves to enjoy time with family and close friends.
